Oscillosaurus is an Australian Synth DIY project creating Eurorack modules, front panels and open-source hardware.
Originally active through the mid-to-late 2010s, Oscillosaurus produced original modules alongside an extensive range of black-and-gold front panels for the DIY modular community.
After a lengthy interruption, the project is active again.

SSOMA is introduced and Oscillosaurus heads to Superbooth in Berlin. SSOMA and later EPOCH gets presenting in Japan at the Tokyo Festival of Modular.

Oscillosaurus is the work of Gareth Johnson.
It grew from an interest in modular synthesis, electronics, graphic design and making things that probably didn't need to exist.
Panels were designed in Australia and manufactured in small batches, with Oscillosaurus eventually finding its way into modular systems around the world.
The revived Oscillosaurus continues in much the same spirit: small-run hardware, useful oddities, open-source projects and a slightly unreasonable amount of black and gold.
DIY is the point.
Oscillosaurus has always existed alongside the Synth DIY community.
Many of the projects are based around open-source hardware, community-designed circuits and projects intended to be built, modified and understood.
Where possible, documentation, design files and source material are preserved here — including projects that are no longer available.
